So we're caring for her cat, at her house down the street, while she's at her daughter's for Thanksgiving.

She''l be back the Monday after.
She calls on Monday.
"I missed my flight. I thought it was Monday, but it was on Sunday. Can you keep feeding Pookie?"
Sure.

Last Wednesday, "I was going to come home today but the only flight I could get was at 7 a.m and I just COULDN'T get to the airport that early. I'll be back probably tomorrow or the next day."
"OK, no problem. We'll just keep feeding Pookie and changing the litter box till you get here."

And then Friday, "Susan (her daughter) is having a dinner party tomorrow and they really want me to stay for it. OK?"
Yeah.

We were on our morning walk today and she came driving by in a rental car.
"Ha,ha. I got back to Pensacola and found I'd left my car keys at Susan's. So I rented a car to get home. My house keys were on the car key ring. Do you have a key to my house?"
Uh, yeah. I think we do.

"I remember it was on the dashboard of Susan's car and I turned a corner and it slid off onto the floor and I don't think I picked it up so maybe I left it there?"
