how long should you wait for a beard to "come in?"

I hate to shave. I really, really hate it.

So, I decided to just grow a beard.

But after a few days, it just seems to quit growing.

Is there anything I can do to jump-start the process?

If I can't manage to grow a beard, maybe I'll have to try radical electrolysis. :shrug:

But I have a rather slow face. When I bother shaving at all, I don't have to do it every day.

7. It looks a little better when you shave the 'unwanted' parts.

Most guys shave neck and upper cheeks.
At least then it looks like you're growing a beard and didn't just forget to shave.
