Well, I got all the way to the office without my reading glasses
THIS will be a productive day :eyes:

I'll be sitting about 3 feet from my monitor, and holding printed material at arm's length. No, I won't look too much like a goofball.

2. Do what I do
Keep a set at work and in every room of the house.

4. I had a pair here at the office
...and dutifully took them home by accident a few weeks ago.

Needless to say, I promptly misplaced them. I knew I was screwn the minute I realized I had taken them home, leaving no backup here. But did I DO anything about it? :eyes:

6. Me too - I found them $1 per pair at a Sav-a-Lot store near my house.
Not quite as stylish as the $200+ no-line bifocals that I bought when my arms first became too short to hold a book, but just as functional and always at hand.

7. I've left the house more than once without mine.
I've always had to turn and go back home because I'd be totally worthless without them.

I do have an old pair at work, but they're no longer the correct prescription, and they're really ugly now that they're out of style. They're still better than nothing though. If I got all the way to work without realizing that I didn't have them, I'd probably just try to use the old pair.

Good luck getting through the rest of the day!
