Did I answer this "Leadership" question ok?
This was a question on that Leadership Assessment Test I had mentioned on here a week back:. You have to choose which was the option you would most likely choose and least likely choose. I chose C as most likely and D as least likely. I was not sure about D or E as the least likely?

You recently hired Sharon. She has proven to be a quicker learner, but is lacking in technical skills.

a)Team Sharon up with a more experienced team member

b)Ask a more experienced team member to supervise her training

c)Meet with Sharon to discuss the job and set up a training plan

d)Give her training manuals and check back with her in a few days

e)Give her an easy assignment and tell her to ask if she needs help

2. Thanks
if somebody as intelligent as you picked that answer, I can't be too far off base.

4. I picked D because
About 10-11 years back, I had somebody do that to me when I started a new job. On my first day, they literally dumped a huge manual (a good 6-7" thick) on my desk about insurance reserves.

Needless to say, it wasn't a good first impression.

5. I agree
I'd definitely avoid d & e; depending on the circumstance (with appropriate discussions) I might go with a or b.
