Mac question
I used save as to steal a pic from my sister's myspace page, with the intention of uploading it onto my photobucket and posting it here. It saved to my pics but can't upload because it is not in the proper jpg. format.....how do I fix this....I know I'm a loser, but this is my first time dealing with a mac.....thanks

1. you can import to iphoto and then export back out as a jpeg.

4. ok import and then click on the photo then go up to "File" and click export
on the drop down "Format" menu choose Jpeg and then hit "export" .

If you select (highlight) the file and select File --> Get Info it will tell you what the extension is..



And really drag and drop is your friend here. If you grab the bar at top of the Window (the one with the streetlight buttons) and move it a bit so you can see the desktop you can just drag an image to the desktop from your browser. It will be saved there. This works with most applications.. You can drag stuff between them. Like I can highlight text in Word and drag that text into Photoshop. No need to copy and paste.

Sorry if that was confusing.. I need sleep.
