34. Driving while reading the newspaper.
I cannot TELL you how many people I've seen, driving down the freeway, newspaper draped over the steering wheel, READING.

I get away from those assholes as quickly as I can.

13. For that matter
being in one of two lanes on a four lane road and no one beside you and the idiot that pulls out (slowly, of course) does not pull into the empty lane but directly in front of you and then acts all "What?!" when you honk at them!!

The big one for driving while______ is yapping on the phone. Technically, even just having an intense conversation with someone else in the same vehicle applies since both distract the driver as much as drunk driving does. The conversation that kills.

I want a robot car and I want it now! :D
(And don't say "Transformers" since I never cared for that show and can't stand Michael Bay movies :P)

Never cared for the show Kitt was in, either. The stepped teleporting discs the Puppeteers used in on their homeworld in the Niven book Ringworld are the way to go :D

23. I used to work insurance claims
I will never forget a double fatality accident caused by some intoxicated dipshit driving down the road at 80 miles an hour getting a blow job. He survived that close encounter with a Darwin award. His passenger and our insured did not.

Not the only claim I saw that occurred while someone was having sex while driving.

I hate the morans who think a 4 wheel drive means they can drive without regard for weather conditions--including ICE!!! You live near me, how many idiotic 4 wheel drive SUV's do we see on their roofs every time it snows?:grr:

48. Or fog!! I was on US 20 west of Dubuque once last winter,
and couldn't see my hand in front of my face. I knew I had to get off the road. It was just TOO dangerous to drive. Yet, there are morans passing me at the speed limit--70 mph. All I could see were their headlights, but they seemed to see just fine. Heavy fog warnings, complete blindness, nothing could stop these idiots.

I got off and spent the night in a hotel.

Edited on Tue Dec-04-07 02:50 PM by Sugar Smack
The pickup that was ahead of me on a two-lane road had two heads visible in the front seat. The male driving and a long-frizzy-haired companion. The companion's head disappeared from my view, the truck slowed down and began weaving ALL over the road. I could not pass.

39. In Greenwich, CT they would pull you over if you were not driving a nice
enough car. A friend of mine (white) was driving an eight year old compact Toyota and was pulled over. The cop said something about the car looking out of place for the area he was in (even though it was a public street). He wasn't cited, but it was implied he did not belong there.
