Should I splurge on a mani/pedi?
I've been very good and feel I deserve one, thinking of treating my mom to one too....if she'll say yes, she feels they are a waste of money......

12. Some women can't live without a regular manicure.
I did it once, with girlfriends. I could have done it just as well myself at home, and spent the money on something more fulfilling.

Unless you are getting fake nails, fills, or super fancy nails with doo dads & stickers on each finger, just do your own nails.
