Here are some helpful laws.

Rent-a-Negro Law: Anyone invoking "friends" or "relatives" who are black/GLBT/insert minority group here when espousing racist/homophobic/sexist beliefs gets an Auto Fail. Corollary: EPIC FAIL is earned when this tactic is used while arguing with someone who actually belongs to said minority.

Mapquest Law: Anyone demanding to know the location of Jesse Jackson and/or Al Sharpton any time something racial happens will be given a link to Mapquest and possibly Google Earth. They'll also be given the phone number of the NAACP chapter in their state, in the event Revs. Jesse and Al still can't be found and someone to speak for All Black People Everywhere is still needed.

Waaahmbulance Law: Anyone who hijacks a thread about an oppressed group's suffering to point out how horrible the people who oppress them have it shall be sentenced to spend a week as a member of said oppressed group.

I don't think I've ever invoked my African relatives in any argument ever. I have maternal cousins who are half French-African (and half French). My sister's husband (with whom she shares four children) is half African American and half Filipino.

After gay marriage was allowed in Massachusetts, fire rained down from the heavens, earthquakes shook the land and the whole state was then swallowed up by the sea. The myth that Massachusetts still exists in relative peace & prosperity is just propaganda directly from Satan.

Similarly, after civil unions were allowed in Vermont and then Connecticut, both states were also swallowed up by the sea, but they at least avoided the earthquakes and fires raining down from the heavens. The belief that those states are also still existing is another myth perpetrated by the Devil and his minions in the liberal media.
