I would love to post something

insightful, intelligent, funny .... but my mind is blank. Guess that shows I'm neither of those :cry:

Guess all I can say is TGIF

I'm thinking I remember you posting pictures from the Christmas Market last year? If I'm remembering correctly, it looks like a great place for getting into a Holiday spirit.

Glühwein is a big part of Christmas here in Germany. Like for you Eggnog ... which I miss over here.

I've never had that. It sounds interesting, though I'm not fond of rum. 'd be more likely to ladle all the wine out of the bowl, before the rum got done melting the sugar.

Plans? Oh yes, starting with an after work party with some colleague from my former employment. It's always dangerous when we get together so I've already commissioned a designated driver. Oh don't worry, I'll be good. But as far as driving, I preferred to err on the side of caution.

Tomorrow is another party. I'm going early to help prepare food. It's quite an eating feast. Wonderful food, great company. That party is one of the highlights of the holiday season.

I remember when I was an intern at the library in Savannah we had all those Christmas parties. It was so much fun and food. I miss it :cry:

Didn't you just have a party at work?

Seems to be more parties to go to this year that last year.

Don't know if that's good or bad. Turning one down Monday.

Gotta go hit the shower.

Oh yeah, done shoveling. It's the nice light and fluffy stuff. Additionally, I have a neighbor who always does my driveway! Very nice old gent.
