Guess the television show by the one sentence plot summary.
Edited on Mon Dec-10-07 09:12 PM by elshiva
This is a take-off on the movie thread.
On edit: the over-arching theme, not the plot of a single show in the series.

My summary, real easy: "Nothing happens on this show."

227. Yep!. Did you ever catch Harold introducing Red Green on the show?
Harold Green: Here he is, the small medium, Mr. Lodge, Red Green!
Red Green: (Entering and waving) Thank you very much and thanks for tuning us in.

(to Harold)
Red Green: Small medium? What was that all about?

Harold Green: Well, you know. Don't you get it? Small, medium, lodge. You know, it's like a dwarf psychic at a resort. Or it could be clothing size: small, medium, lodge.

Red Green: Yeah, you know, I wish I had an extra lodge. I'd send you into it.

.......

Boy, am I'm glad we stayed clear of Harold's suggested Lodge motto, "Be the best you can be... considering".

This was a spin-off of The Rifleman series, called The Law Of The Plainsman, starring the very charismatic Michael Ansara. It was my favorite TV western back in the days when westerns were all over television. Michael Ansara was really great in the role of an Apache lawman hunting down criminals in the old west.

I didn't start watching until Season 4, and then I rented Seasons 1-3 and watched them virtually in one sitting.

Incredible, incredible show. Probably creates the most realistic, gripping characters you'd ever see on TV. Truly departs from the "black vs. white" aspects of most cop/crime dramas.

I'm there January for Season 5, come hell or high water.

I was flipping through the channels one night and caught 5 minutes of an episode and I will never watch it again. In the span of five minutes:

1. Spoiled rich girl A is seen at a fucking LEXUS dealer with her mom buying a $70,000 ES Series car.

2. Spoiled rich girl A finds out that Spoiled rich girl B is planning her party three weeks apart.

3. Spoiled rich girl A sets up an interview with spoiled rich girl B to figure out how to make her party better.
