NO SCHOOL TOMORROW for us... teachers love snow days too
but Ice is not fun


we are expected to get 1 inch of Ice overnight

and that is just round one

1. I get to actually have time to address my christmas cards
and slept till 9 am ...that is awesome considering I normally wake at 5:39

2. I remember loving snow days when I taught school.
Even now, I look forward to them since it means sleeping in a bit.

4. They did that once when I was in high school.

We were supposed to get a foot of snow, so they announced the day before that school was closed . Not a single flake fell from the sky. :D

5. I remember once in the late 90s
Snow was forecasted to start falling in the afternoon, so all the schools had early dismissal and everybody where I worked was scrambling to pick up their kids early from school...

But, the snow never came.

Usually, in CT they wait till snow actually starts falling before they cancel, though. But, they've gotten wimpier over these last 10 years and cancel school a lot sooner.

6. It was supposed to be just awful here,
