Negativland A CAPPELLA.

Holy freakin' crap. If you're a fan of Negativland, or a cappella music, or both, you MUST get "180 d'Gs TO The Future," the album by The 180 Gs. It's all classic Negativland tracks performed a cappella (or mostly a cappella, anyway). Some stuff is radically reworked. "Christianity Is Stupid" as a swingin' gospel tune, "Greatest Taste Around" as a slow chain gang lament...performed perfectly and highly entertaining.

I don't know if it's being sold separately, but it's included in the Negativland DVD "Our Favorite Things," which compiles 20 classic Negativland video pieces, and is a must for any fan of collage.

1. OMG! I must have it.
BTW, my swim coach is related to Casey Kasem. I wonder if I should tell him about the letter I once wrote to Mr. Kasem regarding Negativland and the amusing response I received?
