What's the BIG DEAL about Baseball Players using Steroids...All Sports use them and Worse...
Why the big deal about that Mitchell (Dem Shill) coming out with a report on this for BASEBALL that makes most folks "roll eyes" wondering what the heck it's about. Why NOW for Mitchell's Moralizing about Steroid Use in Baseball. What about what the rest of them USE? Who knows what drugs have even infected the quietest of sports Golf. Next it will be that TIGER uses Coke, Steroids and Cholesterol Lowering Drugs.

I don't get the big push by that sychophant Mitchell who is just one of those old "has been gurus" they roll out to do studies after paying MILLIONS for his "expert opinion." Sort of like Dem Hack Lee Hamilton as the GURU on Dem side of the "9/11 Commission!"

Can't we EVER HAVE REAL INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATIONS and not these "put up jobs" by "has been" former House or Senate Members?

2. What's the big deal? Numbers.
Baseball and its fans revere them. We also want honest competition. Steroids and other performance enhancing drugs rob fans of both.

3. Okay, I'll play
What's the BIG DEAL about betting on games, as long as you don't bet against your own ball club?

4. I don't know...but is Steroid Use worse than Coke...Gambling ..in Sports?
The whole Sports Thing has been corrupt for years. Do we need some Dem Commission telling us Roger took steroids and we know that Roger or the Rest by now in the "Hall of Fame" will never suffer any consequences for their actions? Why bother. Is this going to make our kids more or less likely to look for Sports heroes or the rest of people to stop buying tickets?

What's the point? Why bother with this and put someone like Mitchell in charge of some "whoopie do investigation" that has maybe a few days of fame...but doesn't change anything?

8. How is anything supposed to change
if we continue to ignore it? It's been going on for over a decade and things won't change overnight but maybe it's about time MLB said enough is enough.

I'm sorry but Pete lied for so many years (14?) before "coming clean" I have to ask, why should believe anything he says now?

The simplest response to the question is that it's still against Rule 21.

It isn't just about throwing games. A manager ganvling on a game is going to want to win that game badly, possibly at the expens of the games prior to and following said game especially involving pitching and the bullpen.

7. I know...but it's been going on so long and no one is ever held accountable...so why NOW?
and to put that roving Dem Sychophant Mitchell in charge...when he's just a hack that makes money out of a career being on Commissions just like old Lee Hamilton who got money for being on "9/11 Commission."

Caveat...I have never forgiven Mitchell for being involved with Bush VS. Gore in 2000 Selection. Gore thought Mitchell was one of those "fair and balanced" and look what happened to Gore.

Mitchell always manages to make big bucks. Not that his report is not worth viewing...but who the hell cares? Baseball will still sell tickets and kids will still want to see the best players whether they take illegal drugs or not. So...what's the point?

9. Why not give kids
a little snort of cocaine in the morning before school. "Studies" show that it increases mental alertness and performance. Or some amphetamines.

Can't really have it in life, but we can in sports. So we get angry when people cheat there.
