Tonight's remastered Star Trek

Not a lot of FX to clean up on this one, but just the re-mastering to restore the color and the fact my affiliate airs them uncut makes it seem as though I'm seeing them for the first time. Which I did forty years ago when my age was in the single digits.

To save his ship, Kirk intervenes in a 500-year-old, computerized war between neighboring worlds; guest Barbara Babcock.

Barbara Babcock's beauty was completely wasted on my eight-year-old self.

However, the moral of this story was not wasted on that eight-year-old. A "sanitized" war? It's the so-called "sanitized" wars that tend to go on forever.

I was in second grade and even then I understood the message.
