3. It means "Exceeds Expectations". I've been on the job exactly
90 days. The person who had the job before me was the employee from hell, so compared to her, I'm a dream (of course, I AM a dream!).I haven't had a job evaluation in 25 years (I've worked for myself so my job evaluation was based on whether I could keeps things running). They told me tonight that when my assistant (who I love) got my resume, she told them that a "little old lady" had applied for the job...wait until I get my hands on her!!! Anyway, this is a job that brought me out of retirement and as crazy as it is sometime, I'm loving it...especially when I "exceed expectations"!

4. Well, good for you. You deserve to be happy about that. Hey, how was it to get back into the
"job market" after so long away? I'm considering doing the same thing, though it's only been 16 years for me of owning my business.

8. Very scarey at first. I wondered if I was up to doing it and I
wondered if I could handle having 12 bosses (I work for a Planning Board). I wondered if my mind could still work. I wondered if I could get up in the morning and go to work everyday. I wondered if I could get everything done and still have a life.

I have learned that my mind is still pretty sharp and gets sharper with use. The job is a challenge right now and I'm learning something new everyday. That's important. I'm up with the sun anyway so getting to work is easy. I seem to know my place so I haven't had any trouble having bosses and the bosses have been pretty decent anyway. The most important thing I have learned is that my life experience, years of dealing with people and problems has given me a lot of wisdom and the ability to know when to bite my tongue and say nothing and let things play out. It is the life experience and people skills developed over many years that has helped me the most. I am really loving this and what makes it even better for me is knowing that I've worked hard enough during my life to be secure that the day I decide that this job is shit, I am free to walk away from it.

:woohoo: :yourock;

Ask you anything... Which part of "little old lady" do you take offense to? :P
Or do you mean when you get your hands on your assistant, you're going to give her a great big ol' hug? :D

edit "Congrat not Cingrat... :blush:
