(Sort of)Techie Help Needed
I found one of my favorite albums from my teens for sale of Amazon. I've been looking for it for a loooong time (it's "songs of Couch and Consultation" by Katie Lee - what can I say? I'm weird). The problem is, it's vinyl. I haven't owned a record player in over ten years. Is there some way of transferring vinyl tracks to CD or MP3? That doesn't cost a fortune, or involve buying new equipment?

I found a place on-line that will transfer LP to CD for $26. Are there local places that will do the same? I'd rather spend the money locally and not have to hassle with shipping, unless that's not an option.

1. Do you get the 'Flyer'? I live in FL too
and we get a weekly booklet in the mail filled with classified ads and such. There's usually a few for people offering that service. If you don't have a sound card capable of accepting input from a record player, it could be more trouble than it's worth to do it yourself.

That said, if you can't find someone local, let me know. If you'll pay for shipping I'll do it for you for free.
