I should be wrapping gifts and packing for our trip to RI tomorrow. I don't feel like it. I hate travelling (well, the preparation for it.)

no going to my brothers (he is going to spa)

And I got my first Xmas gift so far this year.
From a Friend who happens to be a DU'er.

1) I hate my crazy family (mostly)
2) My job is stressing me out plus its temp and no benefits at the moment- I get Mon and Tues off but don't get paid for it....
3) I don't feel well but really don't have health coverage right now so can't go to the doc
4) Due to being sick, money is tight so buying presents has been a bit difficult
5) Lonely as hell because my good friends are either out of town or away from internet access...

acting like rude assholes ( more so than usual )

I'm an atheist so the holiday itself means nothing to me. But I have no family and no one to give or receive gifts to or from because all of my close friends are dirt fucking poor and none of them live within 600 miles of me. I'm taking a 3 day trip with a guy I barely know because we both want to avoid reality and the girl I'm infatuated with has been treating me like shit when she treats me like anything at all. And no one will pay me to do any of the things I'm good at and my body is permanently destroyed from someone else's senseless actions. I'm done with self pity, but these are the facts. On the upside, the trip may be fun, my love for The Girl will fade over time and I won't be going broke trying to prove my love to anyone via consumerism. Also, I'm reading a really good book and that makes me happy.

Crazy parents are in San Diego hiding out. My Mom took my dad away so he does not do anything crazy this year.

My kids all are hanging with their others and won't be around.

And I just found out I will not be seeing my gandkids this year (AGAIN) on Xmas day.

I also found out that my friend that I go deliver meals on wheels with is not going to be around on Xmas either so that is out. We do this every year so the regulars can spend time with their families.

And my favorite band broke up during the summer so there will be no big NYE blowout either. First time I will not be seeing music since 69 on NYE.

Fucking sucks.

I can't even enjoy my regular case of the blues for all the stupidity around me.
