I just got the CD I was waiting for!

I belong to a subcription service, CD's with the best of the classical composers.
(I already have 3 by Mozart.)

But the one I got today...

Stravinsky.

The Firebird
Apollon Musagete
Petrushka
The Rite Of Spring

I hope you enjoy it immensely.

I am particularly fond of The Rite of Spring. I had the privilege of hearing it performed live by the Belgian Symphony Orchestra several hundred years ago.

Two young men were sitting in the row ahead of me. One of the guys asked his friend what it was all about. The friend told him to relax, and let the music take him along for the ride.

I took that advice, and was completely blown away by the experience.
