3. Our annual Christmas Old time Radio Marathon on the station
We play classic Christmas episodes of shows from The Golden Age Of Radio; it's always a blast for me to listen in while we relax:

8. 3CDs on the changer:
1. The Boston Camerata with early American Christmas music, including folk songs, shape note tunes, and carols that were popular in the 18th and 19th centuries

2. The Sixteen (a British a capella group) singing medieval and Renaissance Christmas music

3. The Emmanuel College Choir of Cambridge singing various Christmas and New Year carols popular in England. This is one of the college choirs that has women sopranos instead of boys.

9. Are you TRYING to get beaten up by progressive rock purists?
"The Division Bell" AND "Invisible Touch"? Why don't you just call Peter Gabriel and Roger Waters no-talent hacks while you're at it? ;)

10. Holiday Jazz channel on slacker.com.
I'd prefer the "Dysfunctional Holiday" channel, but this is a compromise for the family gathering. Enough interesting playing for me, enough normality for everybody else. :)

14. El Cant de la Sibilla (Sibilla Mallorquina)
Sample here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLmkduP8ing

Song the the Sibyl, a medieval liturgical chant and poetry is traditionally performed only on Christmas Eve, it foretells the destruction of the world due to the wickedness of man. It was banned by the Church because of its pagan roots with the prophetic Sibyls of ancient Greece. The Sibyl, usually portrayed by a young boy with an incredibly beautiful voice, sings a long ancient poem that prophesizes the end of the world. It is preceded by the Angel Gabriel on trumpet as heard in the youtube recording.
