So who's a big enough idiot to go shopping today?
:P I am. But I'm only going to Barnes & Noble to get wall calendars half price. Then I'm coming home.

1. Right here. I'm a cheapskate. Plus, I need a new coat.

I never do Black Friday, but I almost never pass up the after-Christmas sales.

2. I hear ya. We did the after-Christmas sales last year for the first time
in several years, and I swore I'd never do it again (except, of course, to get half-price calendars :P).

10. Hi NWC,

Half priced calendars are my goal this morning.

One more cup of coffee, and I'm hitting the highway
to hell- a local mall, then Borders.

Borders opens late for today.

:hi:

5. I'm a big enough idiot for just about everything but even I draw the line here.
For the rest of this week I don't want to see one cash register that isn't at the moment ringing up beer.

7. Only if buying next semester's textbooks online counts.
Textbook budget's kinda thin- none of my books qualified for buyback this time. What a scam.

13. Well of course, they need to update the textbook version every year.
Change a word or two here and there. Make sure they have an excuse to sell crap to students for another 30-70 bucks. It doesn't matter, mommy and daddy are paying their way through college, they can afford it. Right?

In case you couldn't tell... :sarcasm:

It's bad enough that we're getting another 6" of snow by the end of the day, but I'm going to tempt fate and pick up a couple of things at Target. THIS should be fun...

22. Might, this is the time
I usually go out and buy all our Christmas wrap and other little things for next Christmas. I save a ton that way and put them in the back of my closet. Just looking at the Check book balance to see what I have left. Oh hum.
