And why don't we have 13 months in a year, like women and the Moon?

6. Since there are 12 months in a year

and 13 lunar 28-day cycles, there HAS to be one month with 2 full moons in it, usually a long month.
The second full moon is called the Blue Moon.

5. May 2008 will be the third full moon in a season of four full moons...

December 2009 will have 2 full moons in the same month. It all depends on whether you accept all definitions of "Blue Moon"

Did anyone notice that Xmas Eve a few days ago was a full moon
