Time to cheer for Cal. Can't do so for AF if the Fundies are going to run the place.

2. Oh. Football.
For a minute there I thought it was a full-contact sport involving helicopters. Now that's something I'd pay good money to watch.

3. Bell has a huge plant in the area so I bet that has
something to do with the sponsorship.

6. You had to go and mention V-22s!
My office is next door to the Lumberton, NC, airport...which is one of the most popular destinations for V-22 cross-country flight training. It's really a perfect place for that; it's far enough from Marine Corps Air Station New River, where the V-22s are based, that it's a nice not-too-long flight, and it's sparsely-enough-used that if someone does manage to drive a V-22 into the ground they probably won't kill any innocent bystanders.

Unfortunately for me, their flight path takes them directly over the corner of my building that has the printers in it.
