2. Ah, yes.

That was my first adventure with one, it was fun! I couldn't remember what it's really called, just always heard it called a sawz-all. It definitely did!

3. They are fun...

and can be used for a lot of things. I have used mine for everything from demolishing a deck, to cutting pipes, to cutting trees limbs. For the trees, you can get a blade called "The Ugly" at Home Depot. That thing cuts through very thick wood...the teeth are set very deep on it.

6. Well....

It's too big to take out of the house (it came in through our front bedroom window, which we had to take apart to get it in here) and we'd have had to move about 600 lbs of desk/bed/computers to get it back out that way. If you go back a couple more posts in my blog, there's some explanation of why we wanted it out. Basically, why have a TV-centered room when you don't watch TV? :)

I did hate to destroy something that someone else could have used, though. :(

Lemme at the ugly furniture, I enjoyed it!

21. The cast came off the day after Christmas

He starts physical therapy tomorrow... still has some pain, especially if the fingers are bumped in certain directions. But he's starting to get some limited use back, which we're both quite grateful for. And he's got a nice scar to show for it all! :)
