Funny moments? A friend of mine wanted to buy himself a pet for christmas...
...but his workload was too demanding & he was afraid he wouldn't be able to take care of it properly.

So I suggested he get a fish. He said, "I don't want a friggin' fish, I want a cat!" ...and he took a drink of his beer. Without missing a beat I said, "So get yourself a catfish!"

Well, I guess this struck him as funny. Next thing I saw was him doubled over with Sam Adams foam coming out his nose.

Any one else have a spontaneously funny moment to share?

3. C'mon Peggy...
There must be a time or two when you said a funny thing just at the right time (take your time, think about it & get back with me later). ;)

5. I like it! Here's one...
A witty friend of mine said the following in front of a group of co-workers: Man, I hate getting old. Everything starts to droop. In fact, I sat on my testicles the other day and it hurt like hell.

To which I added: I can vouch for that. I sat on your testicles last week, and it was no picnic for me either.

Good one!

When I was a Boy Scout (true) my scout master said, "Good morning" at breakfast mess. I've never been a morning person so I said to him, "You forgot the 'u' in morning."

At 13 -- he couldn't believe that I was that clever, so he tried to make the joke his own & made the "mourning" reference.

As young as I was, I let him think he was being clever. It just wasn't worth it to me to try & explain; especialially since it was morning.
