is it wrong to mix wine and cola?
I think it's really tasty, and a good way of stretching the cheap, vile wine I usually drink.

4. It's the done thing among the nouveau riches in China.
The newly wealthy love to buy the most expensive wines they can find, but many of them don't like the dryness of many vintages. So they mix them with lemonade or coke. They do the same thing with 30 year old single malt whiskies and ancient brandies. It's enough to make a sophisticated drinker cry.

5. Really? Huh.
I think the theme the next time I throw a party is "The Nouveau Riches," although I'll probably buy my usual swill.

Shame about the Scotch, though.
