I think we need to develop a ritual for 30-something women going back to school
My wife is in grad school right now to get her EDS degree (School Psychology). I know a number of women in their 30's, some married, some recently divorced, some with kids, some without...who are going back to school to either finish their Bachelors, Masters, or get a completely new degree altogether.

So...since this has been a growing trend, it almost seems like...a rite of passage. And every rite of passage deserves a ritual.

Big question is what kind of ritual? Sacrificing virgins might be a little tough these days, baptisms are so overdone and somehow I don't think wifey would go for hoods and robes.

How about a nut fudge cake?
