Sadly, I'm only sort of a dba... self-taught in MSAccess (I know, don't go there) and VB and SQL to run that, but not versed at all in *real* dba, or security, ugh.

Now, I'm programming within the software of a contracted company, which has never before allowed anyone to use the software outside *their* company, so you can guess how good the documentation is. Ha! And it's all in VBScript, with their limited variable allowances. And this is the first project, I'm doing it myself, with wicked timelines, and there are potentially millions of dollars of future contracts riding on our reputation on this project.

Um, no pressure.
