Yay! My dog is feeling better!
He's been sick all day, just sleeping in his house. I couldn't even coax him out, and he hasn't eaten anything all day.

But just now he came out for some butt-scratches. And farted like Fred Thompson after a turnip dinner.

1. Did he eat.
That usually a good sign. BTW cool analogy.

2. Not yet
well not his kibble, anyway. I gave him a couple pieces of ham and he ate those.

5. My ol dog Karma, gets badly constipated from pork products.
It wasn't amusing watching poor Karma spend up to 10 minutes trying unsuccessfully to "poop". We have since learned that pork products and/or bread does that to her. She is allowed only one yummy Pigs Ear per week as a treat. She loves those things and given the chance she would down a bag of them, a loaf of bread as well...not sure that she could survive either so we keep them both out of her reach. I have heard that pork does this to dogs...never bothered to find out if that's an urban legend or not though.

6. I"d never heard that
but he does love a piece of ham or bacon.

He's sitting in front of the space heater now - his favorite place to be. I'm just relieved he's out of his house. And after his poop, he was running around like he was in fine form.

I think he'll be OK.

4. Good to hear.
It's been many years since I've had a pooch, but when I do it's a true bond.
:hi:
