If the mongol horde is mounted on horseback and using the composite re-curve bow, they would be pretty easy to defend against with modern equipment and technology.

freepers (just had to look the term up because i did not know what it meant) would probably be traveling in pickup trucks and might even have machine guns or other powerfull weapons.... they would be much more difficult to defend against.

I would rather fight a mongol horde. Unless i had to go back in time to fight them.....not

excuses for human beings. And they do what they can to blend in with
whatever GROUP is in power at any given moment.

You run amok with a shotgun and a ballbat at a FReeper convention,
and you'll IMMEDIATELY have every talking head on the local news painting you
as some sort of bad person.
