Tonight on tap at Tavernertavern: AleSmith IPA

Ahhhh it is too bad we can't get this one North of the Grapevine. I've heard rumors of beer stores here and there carrying it, but I knew that I would have to seek it out in the deep South of the Kalifornikation Empire. It's a very good IPA - full of piney hoppy goodness. When I popped this 22oz bomber open, wifey could smell it across the room.

What is it about San Diego brews? They're like a Southern version of Santa Rosa (Mecca for beer lovers in Norcal), with Stone, Alesmith and Pizza Port all hailing from a city named after a Whale's Vagina ;)
