11. You do realize that that team of yours *abandoned Boston*?
seventy years ago, right?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Washington_Redskins#Establishment_in_Boston

The Redskins most productive year in Boston came in 1936, when they captured the Eastern Division Championship by winning their last three games and finishing with a record of 7-5. However, during the final game of the regular season, a 30-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, only 4,813 fans showed up at Fenway Park. This angered Marshall so much that he gave up home field advantage for the NFC Championship Game. The game was then played at New York's Polo Grounds, where they lost to the Green Bay Packers, 21-6.

The Redskins in Washington, D.C.
After the disappointing 1936 NFL title game, Marshall decided to move the team to Washington, D.C. for 1937, retaining the name "Redskins" although it was now out of context.

Kind of reminds me of Mom, who still goes to her Towson High reunions while (at times) rooting for the Indian-no-place Dolts :eyes:

14. Sorry Matcom- I was sorry to see them lose
I grew up in the same town with Todd Collins (Walpole, MA) and he is married to my childhood friend. I was really rooting for him.

The odd thing is that Hasselbeck was also from the next town over and almost went to Walpole High with Todd. Instead he went to a private school called Xaverian and helped tutor my father's Math students. My dad didn't know which one to root for!

17. C'mon, you must know the mantra
ABD (Anyone But Dallas)...actually "almost ABD"-- my ultimate apathy game: Dallas vs Denver (because of the Denver vs Seattle rivalry), I could care less about the outcome...
