3. sorta.. not MY love but
in 1999 when I was first on Yahoo Chat I hooked up two of my chat-friends on a blind date. Well really I introduced them and they made the plans, they're on the opposite coast from me. So now they've been married for 5 or 6 years and it's my doing.

I had a couple of brief affairs online but it was bad news both times, I've grown out of that stuff now.

I think it's an okay way to meet people though, as long as you're careful.

7. I have a couple of friends from a text-based RPG I used to frequent who got married.
And so far I've met three people online for the intent of dating. One of whom I ended up becoming good friends with. We got along great, but the chemistry wasn't there. Another of whom I fooled around with and that was it, and the third I just met and we've been on several dates so far, and I'm hoping something serious will come of it. :)

I knew a married couple who had met on the local BBS: both Libertarians and devoted gaming Geeks. It does happen.
