It reads like a Nigerian scam email. It can't be real. If it were, whoever helped him set up the website would have helped him with the wording because the site isn't too bad.

3. just as an aside -- no political deductions are tax deductible

it is not legal to claim contribution to any candidate or PAC as a tax deduction.

Of course, that doesn't mean that Mercer isn't a scam, just that that's not the reason! :D

5. if you search his name you find it on financial scam sites

or things that look that way anyway. I went down a rabbit hole a few nights ago searching for his name, led me to an email address , the two led to a bunch of sites with gold dust sales and what not. Anywho, something's not right down in Houston.

I also wonder if it's a phone bomb of his ex-wife or something. So I was sure it was a hoax.

But then I found that phone interview with him about his campaign.... :scared:

He either believes this stuff or is an actor or ...
