Is there a forum for how to use DU

I never thought about this before because DU is/has been very easy for me to use.

However, I now find myself with two issues...

One, I've tried selecting just the forums I'm interest in for my "latest" page, but no matter what I select, I still see some messages which I think are NOT cross posted from forums I don't really care about. How can I tell what forums are included in a cross post?

Two, For the first time in my history here at DU, I sent an alert to a moderator about a thread. The thread OP went beyond the pale in my opinion, posting a single sentence racial "joke" about Obama, who I have just come around to support since Biden dropped out. Racial slurs and jokes should not be allowed here. Anyway, I want to retrieve the text of the message I sent with that alert. Is there any way to do that?

I saw that post as well and you did good by alerting.

If you go into Options, you should be able to select which forums you want, but I believe that the big ones will show up regardless.

I have been all up in Mercer's house with disease since ATA has been gone.

I used to like reading it just for entertainment value.

the only thing you get to change about it is what forums show up in the My Forums section on the top, not the body of the Latest page.
