Share your 2008 horror stories!

Allow me the indulgence of a ranting recap of the start of the 2008 year. Starting on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 8:17 A.M. I was told by my man that we had to pack up and move ASAP. My Grandmother and my dog die on same weekend. I am now in with my parents along with my other Sister that ended up in the hole due to helping to keep baby sis afloat with baby nephew. My man is held up in motel and may have to go to his Dad's ranch up state.We can't find new housing that is close enough so we can walk to work due to the fact we have no car.
My poor kitty cat,Polo, is getting the heck beat out of him by my brother's cat, Palpatine. Palpatine s VERY protective of my Brother and his room.
Add to this Baby Sis married a man that does not trust her to stay with family down her so takes her and the baby up north with no income. Had to give my Mom and Dad the last bit of cash I had to go get nephew so he won't starve up there. Baby Sis either won't or can't leave Mister Un-trusting.

I am having what I think is a terrible 2008....

but its nothing compared to yours.....
