Survived first day at work!

Well, that's a feather in my hat!

Oh! and here's how it went!

First day was extremely busy:
Two IEP meetings, met the kids,(many remembered me from when I had subbed there), had a meeting with the vice-principal, and luckily also had a sub all day so I could be there and get organized. Tomorrow the kids know I take over class completely.

Am fortunate to also have three classroom aides and two TAs throughout the day, spread out over the 2-two class period blocks I have for teaching these students.

Tomorrow starts out with a high school district SpEd teachers' meeting at 7:30, then, as on every Wednesday, school begins at 9 AM, and I am meeting with the long-term sub (same one who was in today) during the first three class periods, then have the kids for the rest of the day (have about 45 kids total for those two period blocks.)

Came home, took a nap, and went to the store for a few more needed supplies.

Keep up the good work!

Tomorrow will be intense, am sure... :scared:
