Preferably late spring - if more than 10 of you show up we need to have some of you hangout outdoors.

I'm already shopping for my new outdoor grill and I'd be happy to grill up some burgers & tuna steaks. We'll get a couple of cases of Dogfish Beer to sip (and if there isn't enough we can always buy more - plenty of liquor stores opened late nearby). We'll talk politics all night and perhaps late that night we can even check out some of the bars in walking distance.

Who wants to come visit?

5. Of course
I have limited room for overnight guests, I could feasibly host about 6-7 people overnight at my place but I do only have 1 bathroom. The rest I would probably just recommend the local Sheraton down the road from where I live, if they feel they don't want to drive home or just prefer less asses sharing one toilet

34. If people come to Delaware they're not going to want Heineken
And if you want to see Joe you can go to the local Catholic Church in my neighborhood where he has been known to attend on a regular basis.

Actually Mike Castle lives about 6-8 blocks away from me although I don't think DUers would appreciate me having a republican representative speaking at my open house.

27. I live in a state with high income taxes and no tollbooths
I may have to start saving my $$$ now if I am to have enough to make a trip this summer.

But if I do make it, you better lock up your sheep. Just to be safe.

Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 07:18 AM by Rhiannon12866
just being a wiseguy, but we're closer to Canada to NYC, so have never made it to a meet-up in D.C. or Boston. We did have one, locally, here in red northern NY State, and all six of us had a really great time... :D

Wish that yours wasn't so far, since it would be great to meet you and other DUers. I've really liked all four that I've met, so far, LOL, really great people...:hi:

Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 09:18 AM by LynneSin
If you personally round up 20 DUers to come to my open house I will be glad to buy a half keg of 90 minute IPA. If I'm going to show you the best of Delaware it would be silly to force you to drink crap beer.

BTW, if we run out - the liquor store down the street is open til 11pm and sells 6-packs of various Dogfish beers - we'll just pass a hat and do a beer run
