Hawai'i: Tollbooths? Never had 'em. Never will.

(ya-ha-ha-ha-ha!)

Actually a bunch of whiny repuke types are pushing to get toll "managed occupancy lanes" added to the H-1 freeway, instead of actually building rail transit which we have only been talking about since the '70s, :eyes: but I'm not holding my breath.

Aside: Why the "H" in our Interstate designations? We only have H-1, H-2 and H-3, and the lowest number in use on the Mainland is I-4, in Florida. So why don't we get to have I-1, 2 and 3?? :shrug:

One could reasonably argue that Alaska has no interstate highways either, just international.
