1. I was only able to survive the 80s through immersion into electronic and industrial music.
What an idiotic decade. Oddly, much of the best electronic and industrial music occurred at that time, at least IMO.

I laughed (and cried) at 80s paraphernalia then, as much as everyone cries laughing at it now. Just watch any hair band video with the audio all the way down...

5. I had some black suede ones...
I loved them so much that, after they were completely scuffed and worn out, I painted them neon pink. They were hideous, but everything was in the eighties, and I loved them.
