8. I did this about a month ago....
It was worth it, I promise, even the pita part about all the companies, etc. Now I check my hotmail once or twice a week for any non-spam that might have slipped through. Heh.

4. hotmail sucks. I switched to gmail because MSN's servers crashed
at the most inopportune times. It was a pain to switch, too, because hotmail doesn't let you auto-forward to a non-MSN e-mail account (gmail does).

I just sent out a bulk email to all my friends about my new address, now to change it at stores/ paypal/ etc

6. Reset the browser.
That happens to me all the time. I'm in front of a Windows POS right now, so I can't exactly remember how to do that. It is on one of the pull-down menus up top.

7. dump hotmail, I only use that account to throw off spammers.
I got a dot mac account. much much better.
