Seriously, thanks for the graciousness that all have shown me here, despite whatever disagreements we might have. And a special thanks to the admins for running this great place. I hope to be able to contribute when tax refund time comes (hopefully soon).

that first 1000 is tough. I recommend kissing a lot of ass, making fart jokes, trashing Olive Garden, and logging many hours in the Lounge.

I have noticed more than a few people tossing around the FREEPER tag, which I've come to learn is associated with the Free Republic site. Out of curiousity I went over there, and immediately felt like I needed to take a very hot, very long shower. That site would accurately depict the down side of the First Amendment.

BTW, the Lounge does appear to be a happy reprieve from some of the more heated exchanges in the other forums. Family fights are nothing new to me, but I think some of the admins could incorporate sound effects (e.g. breaking china, slamming doors, etc) to their respective boards to complete the experience.
