an all over the place rant.....

After not sleeping last night I got up and came downstairs, fired up the ole 'puter went to my mail hit send/receive and went to get my coffee.
Came back and saw there was an email from soon to be ex Mr. lost.
It was titled Lawyers and stuff.... barf
Anyway he went on to say that he's sorry he hurt the people he loved..blah blah
you are a wonderful woman, mom, person blah blah
We had a wonderful 30 years blah blah

send me the name of your lawyer...

I am not sorry for what I have done and I have no regrets.... my life was changing right before my eyes! WTF???????/
WHY the fuck did he think I wanted to know this.... WHY??

ugh..

I had been doing some soul searching lately and decided I am not ever going to give my heart and soul away again... the bruises and cuts won't heal 100% and I don't ever want to feel this way again.... ever....
Yeah it might be lonely but I will have my self esteem and confidence back.
they are returning.... after 1 1/2 years.... slowly but surely

I also woke up with swollen glands and a sore throat not to mention cramps...ugh

I was just going through the paper work I have to bring to the lawyer today..
well I WAS GOING to bring to the lawyer today...
I realized I don't have a CAR!!!! My son got up and needed to go to a class or something for work and his truck wouldn't start, he asked me if he could borrow mine and I said SURE!!! I'm not going any where!!!!! LOL LOL

so..... I go next Friday..... my nerves are raw now, Weds I am getting 2 teeth pulled and friday I go to the lawyer..... gonna be a great week....

so thats my not so much rant
as complaining post.....

I think divorce is one of the hardest things to go through. I'm still reeling from mine, and it's been over ten years. I read an article in the NYT recently that suggested we get rid of the "Mid-Life Crisis" nonsense and call it for what it is: he's a nacissistic jerk. It sounds like yours qualify.

I'm also temporarily car-less. It sure limits what once can get done during a day. This is one of the many times I wish I lived in Europe, where one isn't so dependent on a infernal combustion engine.

Still it's hard. Sometimes it takes two people just to get anything accomplished. Forget sex and companionship: um, can I get a ride to the mechanic's? How about moving this mattress? Drive me home after my root canal? Hold the cat so I wash this crud out of her fur?
