4. "Religion can't save. Only Jesus can."
Hmmm. Didn't think that one through, did he. (It's under Catholicism.)

3. Of course, everyone knows that.
Is the demon with two horns Fred Phelps. I was wondering because the other demon is telling him to hang around the dead body.

6. Every time I see a Chick tract, only one question comes to mind:
"What kind of f**ed-up childhood did this guy have?"

11. shit!
that means I've got cancer like you wouldn't believe.... I used to hoard chick tracts - I especially looked forward to getting new ones.... I think I even bought a couple once - I've considered buying the whole set, and possibly paying to have out of print ones redone (you can do that) so that I could have one.

10. Here's another good one..."The Letter"
It's in the "De Debbil will get you if you don't pass out enough Chick Tracts" category...this one's about how the devil will get your friends if you don't give THEM Chick tracts.

Starts out good, though: woman curses man who is passing out Chick Tracts. You know you've wanted to.

12. The woman's scathing reply
was the only thing that displayed goodness and decency in that whole sick story. Unfortunately, out of fear and a misguided sense of guilt, she was motivated to become one of those militant proselytizers.

But then, it's always about fear and guilt with the fundies. Fear, guilt, and keeping people in their place. It makes me sick. I believe in God and in Jesus (was raised Catholic, so according to Jack Chick I'm already hell-bound, haha), but this kind of bull$hit is exactly why I have issues with religion.

Everyone has their own path to follow. I honestly cannot understand why some people have issues with the idea of *gasp* live and let live (as long as their actions do not cause harm to others).

The fundie god is a small, unforgiving, cruel, narrow-minded deity. I believe that the Creator is greater than we can possibly fathom in our limited perspective and, as such, we should refrain from using Him/Her to justify our personal greed and petty prejudices.
