Sweeney Todd and Meat Pies
So there is this Harry Potter meetup group that has a real sense of humor. We (Infomania and I) joined our Potter friends to see Sweeney Todd. So where would you go for dinner afterwards?

Of course, we went out for meat pies. Even me, a vegan now these many years, went to Tuck's in the East Village for Aussie-inspired meat pies. Nary a vegan item on the menu. I had a salad while my new friends indulged in suspicious-looking meat pies.

And apparently I'm in Hufflepuff where I may play the Keeper in our upcoming Quidditch matches. Stop laughing. :P

2. I figured Thom for a Ravenclaw too.
But the Sorting Hat sites say otherwise. If you need to reach him, he's hanging out a lot now in the Hufflepuff Lounge.

5. As a non-vegetarian, I can say that I love those meat pies.
I'm not that big of a carnivore (tend to like meat as flavor, not the main course) but we used to have an Aussie meat pie vendor locally and every once in a while we bought some because they were so damn tasty. I'm not so sure that I'd find them tasty just after seeing 'Sweeney Todd' though.

7. Careful! Gray Warrior has claimed Rickman too.
Alan Rickman was wonderful in the movie. Depp and Helen Bonham Carter had solid performances too.
