One interesting thing about cancer risk factors is how they are coinciding with risk factors for many other diseases.

Diabetes is related to insulin resistance, which is related to inflammation, which is related to cardiac disease as well as cancer, and many of these diseases have things in common, such as over-expression of Interlukin 6.
