My trip to the doctor today
The guy at the ER the first time said it was ringworm....
Yes it is ringworm (damnit)
The guy at the other ER said it was psorisis....
Yes it could be that.... (WTF)
I"m on two new meds and not having very good reactions to them.....the rashes started at the same time.....could it be that
Could be.....
Well what is it?
Stop wearing deoderant and make an appt with this dermatoligist (who is located very far from my home)
But that could take months and I'm very concerned.
It could take months so call today, it may be something very serious.
Excuse me?
You have acne....
(speechless....here is a pic from two days ago....can you find the one pimple? )

END APPOINTMENT

not my usual doc, I see her on the 20th and am now waiting for a call from my pdoc to see if I should stay on the medicine ( a rash with psych meds can be very dangerous)

:wtf:

2. I can only wear the white type of deodorant (power type)
The other stuff, the colored deodorant gave me rashes and itching. I know others that have reactions to it too.

6. Oh sorry.
Venting welcome. Prolonged itching could make me homocidal.

10. Nothing worse than medications that give you stuff worse than what you are taking them for...
For me, see ALL OF THE STATIN DRUGS and RED YEAST RICE (natural statin) for lowering cholesterol. I suffered for years with muscle and joint pain. An attorney in New York City is suing one of the big pharmaceutical companies on behalf of seventeen plaintiffs who have had very serious illnesses. The suit could go on for years....

Good luck, Rising Phoenix! That's a cute picture!

12. I didn't have any luck on Geodon
in fact, I got worse on it.

Good luck with the med adjustment. I know what a pain it is.

11. Have you tried natural deoderants like the Tom's of Maine products?
I don't think they're as effective as the aluminum-based kind, but some do work.

Can't really help you with the med reactions, but I thought I would throw it out there.

13. I get terrible rashes when I eat gluten
(wheat, barely, rye) and yeast (as in yeasted breads, even rice flour ones).

Sometimes one can develop a sensitivity to certain foods out of the blue. I sure did.

Also can't use deodorant containing propylene glycol, that does a number on me. I use Ombra (the green one) http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&rh=n%3A3778521%2Cp_4%3AOmbra&page=1

I hope it's not your meds. Good luck. I had eczema for years before it was determined what was the problem. :hi:
