I am really hurting here...

I had hernia surgery on Thursday.
Not only a 3 inch incision, but that entire area is bruised, on my left side, reaching down into...well...you know.

I look like I was hit in the groin by a Buick.

2. A friend of mine at my last job got a hernia and had to have the surgery for it.

He got lucky with the hernia itself and it didn't actually hurt. The surgery on the other hand... yeah. Not so lucky there. Hurt like hell, and he was practically bedridden for weeks.
