My sister is being a total bitch and using my niece as a pawn.

My mother and stepfather have been very upset with my older sister now for a long time (long story). Anyway, there was a fight between her after my mother refused to let her stay the night at her house with her daughter after a fight with her husband (another long story). Now because she blames my stepfather for this (who said no, but my mother agreed with her) has said that Stephanie, will NEVER step foot in my mothers house again. And that means I likely won't see her either because thats mcuh closer to my house.
On top of this she had Stephanie call my mom (because she really misses Grandma) but when she heard that my stepfather pick up the phone and say "Hi Grandpa" she hung up the phone.
Then my mother got together at a public place with my sister and niece. And when Stephanie insisted she wanted to go to Grandma's house..and almost started crying well..My mom had to reassure her she could come over later. She had to LIE to make Steph feel better. Plus judging by how happy Steph was to see me last month, I know she misses me too. How can she at least NOT drop Steph off for visits..She can make her contact with my mother brief.
Oy vey. My mom is changing the locks on the house now, and has written my sister out of the will (she said that my Stepfather had NO right to the house despite being married to my mother for 10 years now). I am under strict orders that if something happens to them I am NOT to allow my sister in the house..
God damn her for being a selfish person and she is damaging her daughter! If I believed in hell I would say there is a special place reserved for those who use a child as a pawn.

Have you looked into grandparents rights laws for your state?

people do terrible things and I find it amazing that they do sometimes. I like to think people are basically good.
