I've stood through the Ring Cycle twice at the Metropolitan Opera, and Das Rheingold an extra two times. Yes - four times in my life, I have stood through Das Rheingold!

10. I saw the Seattle Ring Cycle when I was just a kid. Both the German AND the English cycles.

Just to show you what a glutton for punishment I am. :-)

Seattle no longer does a yearly 'Ring', though. :(
