Do you take 'Navy' showers?
I do.
Turn on shower, get wet, turn off shower.
Soap up.
Turn on shower, rinse off, turn off shower.
You'd be amazed at how much water/money you save that way.

Another friendly message for your favorite local tree-hugger.
:-)

1. Yes
But only because my "shower" is an old tub with a handheld sprayer thingy.

5. The injections help.
But yes, I think any way to conserve water in the shower is an admirable goal. As a former midshipman, I say: "Go Navy!"

Pits, tits and ass- for when you have just a sink or anything else you won't fit your body in. Though I guess guys don't worry about the T part.

11. That's mostly what I do
I do let it drizzle a little for sudsing and I do an extra on/off to rinse my shampoo or I get it in my eyes. I originally started doing that when I had an apartment that had crappy water pressure and sometimes in the middle of a shower it would just cut off and I'd have to sit and wait for more water. Saves water, so I just kept doing it.

18. Sometimes, but it's different if you need both shampoo and conditioner.
I turn off the water once the shampoo is rinsed, then add conditioner and soap up.

I am also guilty of turning off the water while I wash my hands. I worked in restaurants & bars for years, then in an elementary school, so I'm a big fan of thorough handwashing.

Oh, yeah, and when I brush my teeth, too.

19. Yup, I do
I grew up on a farm/ranch that used well water for the farm animals as well as for the people. Water conservation was important. I've kept the habit even though I have long since left the farm....
